The water pillar, the second to gain her pillar status, Muriena Seregune, has survived and seen many atrocities within the Abyss. She has suffered many atrocities herself, which she still carries with her in her mind to this day. Her spirit is as strong as it ever was, but her physical body is nearly broken down by age and time of being in an internal unending state of war. She doesn't speak of what happened to her body during those times, but she has said that when a person's soul reaches its limit, their body becomes nothing more than a shell for the soul to exist from. In her case, her shell is damaged beyond repair, so she no longer has the strength or will to even move, though deep inside her heart, she knows she must move on those close to her. Although her past is shrouded in mystery it is known that she was able to become a pillar by sacrificing her own body, for which she had no choice in the matter.
