Betta was a loyal big brother to Cedar and Brooke for years, raising her after their parents passed tragically.
Betta found that he found his perfect harmony in another Dextroluma named Devotion. They two felt like they were unstoppable young adults, ready to take on the world. They bonded over being the eldest sibling who had to take over with a parent's role
Their dreams of protecting Queen Iola and her dreams fell short after years of traveling the world and becoming determined to be guards for Iola. They got kidnapped by the blighted wilds courrupted dextroluma. Betta; whose younger brother Cedar (and Brooke too which Dev was unaware of ) was used as ammo to make Betta do what Mana wanted, was forced to turn the love of his life into a corrupted dextroluma like him after being held captive for days. After Mana was done with Betta and Devotion - they moved on to other targets, leaving the newly corrupted dextro to fend for themselves.
Soon after hearing that Betta and Devotion were missing (which took a little time because they traveled so much) they were found by Cedar's childhood best friend (and future wife) Hydrangea , and cured . Thankfull Dev was only at stage 1 of the corruption unlike Betta who was on the brink of stage 2.
PERSONAILTY:
Betta nerves are easily grated now, which before was more a minor thing. He would be known to snap at things and threaten to leave the family before but now even the slightest comment could set Betta off. Devotion is the only one who can calm down Betta in his raging fits, as Betta would never hurt a hair or crystal on Dev's body ever again. Betta adores Devotion more then life itself. He can be self centered and cocky. He tends to guard himself more and more over time but is really only open with Dev, and his two younger siblings. He's slowly opening up to Hydrangea and Tine as well.
