Devotion was a loyal big brother to Tine for years, raising her after their parents passed tragically.
Dev found that he found his perfect harmony in another Dextroluma named Betta. They two felt like they were unstoppable young adults, ready to tak on the world.
Their dreams of protecting Queen Iola and her dreams fell short as they got kidnapped by the blighted wilds courrupted dextroluma. Here , Devotion was turned corrupted forcfully by Betta; whose younger brother Cedar was used as ammo to make Betta do what wanted by a corrupted dextro named Mana. After Mana was done with Betta and Devotion - they moved on to other targets, leaving the newly corrupted dextro to fend for themselves.
Soon after hearing that Betta and Devotion were missing (which took a little time because they traveled so much) they were found by Cedar's childhood best friend (and future wife) Hydrangea , and cured . Thankfull Dev was only at stage 1 of the corruption unlike Betta who was on the brink of stage 2.
PERSONAILTY:
Dev overall is a sweet person who has laspes in judgement. He tends to be angered quickly , a thing for him that even before the necrosis he had. He tends to be more on edge as of late. But he knows one thing - Betta is his true love and he would do anything to protect Betta.
