Styx's Reaction

Styx frowned, unsure of what to think of the news she was receiving. She did not particularly care about Aerius itself, but her friend Sedna had made a home there. So naturally, she worried about her and her partner. 

Styx gently stroke the feathers of Alecto. The scavenger bird had been a present from Sedna. Styx had no idea how she had obtained her, but she very much appreciated the gift. Alecto, despite her fierce naming patreon, turned out to be a total sweetheart. Her greatest goal in life was getting cuddles. Thankfully the bird was smart enough to have a solid understanding on her size, so she didn't try to hop on Styx's lap.

The Lockette was confident that Sedna and Rán were not in immediate danger, judging by the locations of them and the war. But she knew that Rán had necrosis, and most of the reports she saw didn't treat corrupted Dextroluma kindly. A lot of them, especially on the tabloid side of the spectrum, painted all who suffered from Necrosis as mindless and heartless killing machines. Which was absurd on many levels, but it was also undeniable that the army of the Blighted Wilds committed war crimes. She was also fully aware of Sedna's decision to join the fight, should her partner's condition get worse. Hopefully it would not need to come to this. Her friend was a good fighter, but if she went, of course Styx would go to war as well. They had not discussed it yet, they didn't need to. As far as Styx was concerned, it was a given. Although she would prefer if it didn't need to come to this. Perhaps she could convince her that instead of joining the army, they and Tesni would do their own thing on Aerius to end the war, using their own methods. It'd be better suited for them instead of following orders.
