Fish People on Shrooms

Dextrolumas are a species of humanoid fungal-fish people that inhabit Aerius. Their diet mainly consists of the local fungi which gives them their signature glow and unique traits.

What do you have there? A knife! NO!

Lockettes are a species of humanoid dolls inhabited by Saura that reside in the dimension known as Maquette. They are capable of summoning an object unique to their person.

You were killed? Yes sadly... But I lived! (pt. 1)

Kipitins are a species of demons that inhabit a dimension known as Ignis. They were once spirits of the deceased who died in regret now given a second chance as demon by an entity known as the Creator.

You were killed? Yes sadly... But I lived! (pt. 2)

Dexettes are a hybrid species between Lockettes and Dextroluma. When a Dextroluma's soul separates from their body and inhabits an empty Lockette shell it becomes a Dexette.

Romance isn't Dead!

Nunulumas are a hybrid species between Nunukes and Dextroluma. They are the result of a pairing between a Nunuke and Dextroluma resulting in a Nunuluma child.

It's common to see members with characters up for trade (UFT)! These trades may be posted here, on site, or in the discord, keep a look out and you may just score a dreamy or two! 

A wonderful site feature is that you can list your characters as "up for trade" via their profiles! This is also handy if you've "bookmarked" a character and want to know their trading status or if it's ever changed!

The Adoption Center is where community members can surrender characters for crystals! These characters go up in the Adoption Center for others to buy!

You can submit your art to prompts to earn bonus currency! Prompts are divided into two types: Permanent Prompts (ones with no time limit) and Temporary Prompts (ones with a time limit).

Exploration is an activity that uses stamina to grant on-site rewards! These items can be sold, used in recipes, used in prompts, used to obtain Awards, or opened to obtain a greater prize!

All new members start with one stamina but increase to three stamina after completing their first Exploration before the daily reset. Stamina resets every night at midnight EST.

• Great Forest Contains: Herbs, Water, Mango, Spicy Pepper, Berries, Mushrooms, Honey, Vanilla, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Coca Beans, and Leather
• Marketplace Contains: Noodles, Ice, Syrup, Agar-Agar, Coconut Liquer, Wowza Bread, Cheese, Whipped Cream, Seasoning, Dough, Rice, Beans, Oil, Milk, Flour, Eggs, Sugar, Meat, String, Paper, and Ink.
• Trash and Treasures Contains: Trash and a rare chance for Crystal Pouches, Elixirs, Ingredients, Dishes, Boxes, and Bags

Dailies are a fun little button that you can click once a day to earn rewards! Dailies reset every night at midnight EST. 

• Pay Respects: A daily that grants the currency Patronage(1,2, or 3) and occasionally Dubious Stew. Patronage can be used in the Verdant Castle Shop 
• Nero's Wheel of Fortune: A daily that's a bit of a gamble! You have to pay a 5 Crystal fee to spin but can be rewarded in Crystals (2,3,4,5, or 30), Patronage (2,3,4,5, or 30), Trash, or Dubious Stews!
• Oasis Fountain: A daily that grants 1-10 Crystals at random
• Event Daily: A daily that alternates between one Event Currency and one Crystal. 
• Higher or Lower: A daily in which you are given a random number between 2-12 and have to guess whether the true number is higher or lower than the number given. Each correct answer grants 2 Crystals

Crafting is a way to combine items into another item of greater value! You can craft various such as Dishes, Crystal Pouches, and occasionally awards! 

There are three recipe values: 

• 15 Crystal Recipes: These recipes use two Great Forest ingredients and one Marketplace ingredient. 
• 20 Crystal Recipes: These recipes use one Great Forest ingredient and two Marketplace ingredients.
• 35 Crystal Recipes: These recipes use one Great Forest ingredient, two Marketplace ingredients, and one Regional Mushroom.

Cultivation is a feature that allows you to create items over time by tending to them in a specific Cultivation Area! 

You need three items to begin a Cultivation:

• Map: These items are required to unlock Cultivation Areas and can be earned via Unlock Prompts.
• Tools: Items that are used to prepare plots for the Cultivation Item.
• Seeds: Items that can be used to cultivate a new item! Each Seed has a specific tool that must be used to prepare the plot before the seed can be used.

Available Cultivation Areas: 

• Mushroom Gardens: Where you can grow different regional mushrooms!

Awards are trophies that you can earn to display on your user profile! Awards can be earned a number of ways.

• Collections: Collections allow you to collect and showcase items. Collecting all the items in a collection will grant you an Award and prizes! Collections allow you to keep the items you submit to it, so they can be reused for other things!
• Award Page: Some Awards allow you to submit items on the Award Page to unlock them! This method consumes the items that you submit so be sure you're ready to give them up for that shiny award! 
• Occasionally awards can be obtained from: Prompts, Item Drops, Crafting, and Cultivation.

Pets are cute little critters that you can attach to your characters! You can change some Pets' colors by feeding them Pet Cookies! Pet Cookies can be obtained during Monthly Events for Event Currency! Pets can be purchased from Rodeo Ruff Pets.

Once a pet is attached to your character you can Bond with them and increase your friendship level! Each time you level up you get a reward. The levels are as follows:

• Wary (Base Level) 
• Nervous (Grants 5 Crystals) 
• Relaxed (Grants a Grocery Sack)
• Content  (Grants a Border Box)
• Happy  (Drants a Dish)
• Devoted (Grants a Pet Cookie)

There are two ways to Bond with a Pet:

• Click on the character's masterlist entry that it's attached to and from there a button to bond with the pet will appear!
• Navigate to your Pets page from your profile, click on the pet you wish to bond with, click view page and bond!

Scavenger Hunts are activities in which claimable items are hidden throughout the site. When you see an item that appears out of place, you simply click on it to obtain your reward! 

Different Scavenger Hunts have different requirements and hiding spots! So look out for Scavenger Hunts go active and what their rules are.

Once a month a Shard Scavenger Hunt will be hosted in which 5 colorful Crystal Shards are hidden throughout the website! These Shards can be sold or kept as trinkets.

Character Boops are a fun way to show your like for a certain character! Unlike Toyhouse favorites, Character Boops don't save to a favorites page and you can Boop a character once per day (so multiple times throughout the week)! You can only Boop other's characters, not your own, so spread the love and Boop some characters! 

How do you Boop a character? 

• View Character's Masterlist Entry
• Click the "Boop" button in the top right corner

Check out the Boop Leader Board to see the most liked character on Dextroluma.com! Boop characters to raise them through the leaderboard. The Boop Leaderboard can be found on the masterlist sidebar.

We have a few ways to further customize your character settings on site!

• Feature a Character: You can feature one character to appear on your profile! To do this, go to your character page, scroll to the bottom, and select the character you want to feature! 
• Create Character Folders: To create folders go to your character page, click Create folder in the top right corner, and add characters to folders by clicking the drop-down menu below their name! Folders can be rearranged by shifting the order of your characters! So if you want a certain folder to appear at the top you'll have to move the character to the top of the page!
• Authorize Your Characters: Similar to Toyhouse you can authorize your characters and hide them from public view! To do this you must go to your character's masterlist entry, click "edit profile" under settings, scroll down to the bottom, toggle on "hide"(optionally you can add users in the "authorized users" list to allow friends to see them), and then hit submit! This has to be done per character! 

User Shops are a fun way to sell unwanted items for some extra currency or buy items that are out of season or discounted!

To Create a User Shop click the "My Shop" tab under your username drop-down. You can only have one shop open per person!

To add stock to your shop:

• Go to your inventory 
• Click the "Quickstock" button in the top right corner
• Choose the shop you wish to stock 
• Click the "Your Inventory" drop-down 
• Check off what items you want to be transferred to your shop 
• Hit Submit when you're done 
• Go back to "My Shop" and "edit" your shop
• Click the "Items" drop-down, set to visible and add the crystals amount 
• Click "edit stock" and you're done!

Birthdays are always fun and to celebrate birthdays we've added a cool feature that grants you a Bronze Box on the month of your birthday! This will grant you the choice between a Common Dextroluma MYO, Common Lockette MYO, or Common Kipitin MYO.

Please be sure to set your birthday as public (the second level on the settings, showcasing the day AND month) in order to get your free slot! If you don't have your birthday public then you will NOT receive your gift!

Crystals are the main currency of the site and most of the site stores sell items in Crystals!

You can earn Crystals by:

• Dailies
• Site Activities
• Prompts
• Drawing or Writing your characters
• And more!

Patronage is a daily log-in bonus currency that you can get daily by Paying Respects!

Patronage can be spent on:

• Mutations (Strong Elixirs)
• Grocery Sacks 
• Crystals
• Special Seasonal Items or Pets

The only store that takes Patonage is the Verdant Castle! 

Event Currency rotates bi-monthly with the website's current active event! Each event has its own unique currency that disappears seven days after the event ends. Make sure to spend your Event Currency before it goes away!

You can earn Event Currency by participating in Event Prompts, the Event Daily, and other activities during the event period! 

There will be a special Event Shop where you can spend your currency. This shop will have pets, pet cookies, and other goodies to buy!
