Why can I no longer log in/register with dA or TH?
Due to several bugs we have experienced with with both users trying to log in and register with dA and TH we have decided to remove the feature. Unfortunately this feature has a tendency to break when we pull new code. Additionally dA and TH have frequent issues on their end (meaning it is an issue that we can not fix and have to wait for them to do so) that prevent users from logging in and or registering. To hopefully prevent difficulties on both user and mod side we have decided to remove it all together. ------- I didn't set up an email and or password, how can I fix this?
- If you HAVE access to your account (meaning that you are still logged in) you can simply input either your email and or password in the settings. To add an email, scroll down to the "Email Address" box in settings. Here you can type in the email you want to attach to your account. Once you hit edit it will send you an email that you must verify before you can access settings again. To add a password, scroll down to the Change Password box and add your desired password in the "New Password" and "Confirm New Password" text boxes.
- If you DO NOT have access to your account (meaning you are logged out and can not log in) you can open a private-help ticket and provide us an email you wish to link to your account. Once we have added the email to your account you can click the "Forgot Password" link on the log in screen to add a password to your account. You will be sent an email to change your password change and once finished you should be able to access your account with your email and password log in!
Please note that sometimes emails from Lorekeeper sites will end up in spam or will need to be resent before they appear in your inbox. Gmail also likes to stack emails together in a group so make sure you are clicking the link for the most RECENT email otherwise you may run into errors.
How do I register to get on the site?
Go to https://www.dextroluma.com/ and select register at the top right! Fill out the page with your details and await a confirmation email.
I can't find my confirmation email?
Please be sure you check your spam and trash as it's possible it may have ended up there! If you still cannot find your confirmation Email please Submit a Claim or open up a private ticket in the discord! We can then check the database in case anything was entered incorrectly!
What species are hosted on Dextroluma.com?
We host several different species on site which are all linked with each other including our main three:

How do I get a character to use on site?
There are a few different ways in which you can obtain your very own Character!
- Purchasing a Character through the Adopt tab
- Purchasing a MYO item with USD or Crystals in the Aerius Archives
- Trading or Buying from other members of the community
- Purchase characters from the Adoption Center with Crystals
- Contests and Raffles
Why is the species 18+?
Due to the nature of the species' lore, themes and traits (including disease, death, gore, body horror, fantasy discourse, other adult themes and sensitive content) we have decided our species is better suited to an adult audience. All body horror and gore present on the masterlist has a censored thumbnail and warning. Please heed the content warnings in the thumbnail prior to viewing the entry.
Can I have multiple accounts?
We do not allow multiple/alt accounts on site, no. If you are found out having alt accounts onsite (This includes creating accounts you manage for your Spouse/S.O/Friends/Family. They must manage their own accounts should they choose to join the site.) the account will be banned and all assets (Characters, MYOs, items, currency, etc.) attached will be Removed & Voided.
Can I change my username?
Users are not able to change their usernames themselves and this must be done by Submit a Claim. Please state in the comments what you would like to change your username to. Users can change their Usernames ONCE per year.
I put the wrong birthday! Can I change it?
Users are not able to change their birthdays once registered, so to change your birthdate, please Submit a Claim stating in the comments you’d like to change your birthday and what it is to be changed to. We will of course only fix this once!
I didn't get my birthday reward! What do I do?
Birthday MYOs are sent out on the 1st of each month, this is provided your birthday is VISIBLE on site. If your Birthday is not visible on your profile, you will not receive the birthday reward and you will not be able to get a birthday reward until the next year. To make your birthday visible, please go to Settings and scroll down to ‘Birthday Publicity’ making sure it’s not set on 0.
What do all the different currencies mean?
We currently have 3 different currencies you can find on Dextroluma.com:
Crystals - The main currency for the site. Crystals can be used in shops to purchase Trait potions, MYOs, Pets and other exciting goodies!
A great way to earn Crystals is by participating in prompts, monthly prompts, drawing our featured Character of the month and logging in to collect your Dailies.

Patronage - This is a daily log-in bonus currency, with enough Patronage earned, you will be able to purchase goodies from Verdant Castle.
Event Currency - This currency will rotate with seasons and events! Event currency can be earned by completing event prompts and taking part in the event dailies!
Why did all my crystals reset to 0?
As we have previously announced via discord and Toyhou.se, all currency upon the site's launch will be reset to 0 as we’ve completely rehauled the earning system, shop prices and prompts entirely. There will be a window in which you could use up your previously earned currency to allow you to purchase items, Gextro and outfits at massive discounts! We are very sorry if you missed this!
How do I get crystals?
Crystals can be earned in a variety of ways; by completing prompts, selling crafted items or ingredients and by logging in for your dailies!

How do I get my items/characters on site?

Can I draw my characters with other species? will it still earn me crystals?
Drawing your character with other species is more than welcome, you will still earn currency for the character drawn. Since these other species are not linked on site, they will be listed under “Large Props” on the art calculator!

Can I resell currency, items or MYOs for real world currency?
We DO NOT permit onsite currency to be sold for any real world currency under ANY circumstance. This also applies to items or MYOs purchased via onsite currency. Additionally this applies to any character, pet, item etc that was given out for FREE from Dextroluma.com.
The only exception to this rule is for items or MYOs purchased with real world currency.
Should you be found selling currency, items or MYOs that were purchased via onsite currency action will be taken against your account.
Can I purchase MYOs with USD like I could previously?
MYOs are still able to be purchased with USD! You may Purchase MYOs at Aerius Archives!
How do I submit a MYO design?

My character's value is listed as $0, why is that?
If the value is listed as $0 then they have not been appraised. While appraisal will eventually take place through the website, it is currently done via google form. Please read the google form carefully to follow its instructions.
What are "Key Characters"?
Key characters are important characters within the world of Aerius, this can range from Kings & Queens to Knights and Shop owners. There are prompts where you can get to know these characters a little better! They’ll even reward you with their Keepsake.
What does "Exploring" do and what is "Stamina"?
Exploring allows a player to collect items within a specific location! Each exploration takes one hour to complete and grants you one random item after completion. These items can be sold for profit, back to the site or used to craft items to be sold or used in prompt Questlines! Every location has a cost in order to explore it. All locations cost stamina, some cost more than others. In addition to stamina some locations require crystals be paid in order to explore and collect items.
How do I craft? What is it for?
Crafting can be used to earn Crystals for the most part. However some Quest lines do require crafted items to complete! To craft items, select the Play tab and then Crafting, then select the recipe you want to craft!
You won’t be able to craft unless you have all the correct ingredients and recipes necessary. There are several recipes unlocked for you already! For the future plans, some recipes will be unlocked by completing certain prompts!
What are dailies?
Click the Dailies tab each day you log in on Dextroluma.com! There are several dailies including Pay respects, Nero’s Wheel of Fortune, Oasis Fountain & Higher or lower! On top of this, during events there will be additional dailies, so keep your eye out! You will be able to click each daily button once a day!
What are Pets?
Pets are cute little critters you can find just about anywhere on Aerius, they are loyal and often small in size. These can also be attached to your characters! Some pets can even bring back little surprises, be sure to check on them from time to time!
How do I get Pets?
Pets can be purchased at Rodeo Ruff Pets with crystals! Event pets can be purchased with event currency during each event, they’re then added to the main pet shop once the event has ended!
How do I attach pets to my characters?
To attach Pets to your characters, you can go to the top right tab, click your username and select ‘My Pets’ from the dropdown, or by clicking on your profile, scrolling down to the bottom and viewing all your pets.
Click on the pet and a window will pop up. Here you can also Name your pet, trade them and change their variants! Click ‘Attach Pet to character’ and here you will see a dropdown menu with all your characters.
Select the character you want to attach the pet to and it will now show up on their profile! No worries if you mess up, pets can easily be detached!
What are Pet variants?
Sometimes Pets can take on different appearances! This is sometimes a seasonal or a magical thing! You can often find variants in seasonal events! Check out our Pets and their variants here!
How can I get pet variants?
A Pet’s variant can be altered by giving them a Pet Cookie! You can get pet cookies via Event shops and sometimes random drops from Exploring if you’re lucky!
To change a pet’s variant click your username and select ‘My Pets’ from the dropdown, or by clicking on your profile, scrolling down to the bottom and viewing all your pets. Click on the pet and a window will pop up, this is where you will “feed” your pet the cookie to change its variant!
What is the Crystal Casino?
The Crystal Casino is a ‘Shop’ in which you can try your luck to earn some extra Crystals. By purchasing the items from the Casino and playing their games you could maybe, win the jackpot, break even or… Leave empty handed.
What is Trash & Treasures?
Trash & Treasures is one of the several locations you may explore under the “Explore” tab. As the name indicates this location primarily contains trash with the chance to collect more rare items.
What's a user shop and how do I set one up?
A user shop can be set up at any time upon joining the site (1 per person). You can do this by going here and selecting the “Create New Shop” Button!
In your own shop you can sell foraged, cultivated, crafted goods and more to other members! You manage your own stock and prices and if items are sold you will be credited immediately.
To remove stock from your store you must “edit” your shop and select the “delete” icon on any stock you do not want! The stock will be placed back in your inventory.
What does "selling to the site" mean?
All items that can be sold in user shops can also be sold back to the website. What this means is when you select an item in your inventory (Foraged, cultivated, crafted items etc) you will see a tab labeled “Sell Item”, click this and it will pop up saying how much you will earn selling it back to the site. You will be credited immediately upon pressing sell.
What do awards do and how can I get them?
Awards can be earned in a few different ways! The most common way awards are earned is via participating in events on site! Some Awards may also be earned by completing quests and some a little more Miscellaneous.
Do I need a character to complete prompts?
You do not need to own a character on site to complete prompts! If you have permission from your friends you are welcome to use their characters or our Key Characters!
How many times can I complete prompts?
This will vary and is always written in the description of each prompt, some are repeatable however rewards will alter after the first completion!
Why are some prompts locked? What are the prompt questlines?
Certain prompts are locked as they require a previous prompt to be completed before you can submit.
Questlines are typically a series of prompts that are required to be completed in a specific order in addition to requiring an item be attached alongside your submission! These prompts have a higher payout compared to normal prompts due to their increased difficulty/ length.
What are Factions?
Factions are essentially occupations that your character may join after the completion of a prompt. We have several different factions that the character may join! You can see what factions are available here.
What does faction currency do?
Faction currency, or “Crowns” allows your character to rise through the ranks of your Faction! This currency can be obtained through specific faction prompts which can be found in the prompts tab or under each faction. Upon joining the faction your character will start out with the lowest Rank within that faction and rise through the ranks as more currency is collected.
How do I surrender a character?
This functions exactly like the “Exchange Center” that most members are used to from our old system, however, now it is mostly automated! Surrendering your character will send them to the Adoption Center in which other users may purchase them with earned Crystal Currency. Once your character sells, you will be rewarded with the appropriate amount of crystals.
How do I void a character?
To void a species character, please send in a Claim or private ticket via the discord. Please link your character, their masterlist entry and the new design. Once your void is approved, the masterlist entry will be deleted on site.
- When voiding a Dextroluma, please remove all traits which are strong within the Dextroluma species. (Dextroluma fin styles, baubles, and the standard white/grey/black glowing eyes, specifically, must be removed!) You are welcome to keep fins on the design as long as they are not a standard dextroluma shape, and the horns / colors!
- When voiding a Lockette, please remove all traits which are strong within the Lockette species. (Collars must be made removable, and we prefer if charms are made removable from the ears, tail, and weapons). Fracturing and keyholes can be made purely cosmetic or kept. Possessions and colors may be kept.
- When voiding a Dexette, please remove all traits which are strong within the Dexette species. (Dexette fin styles and baubles, specifically, must be removed, and charms must be made into removable accessories!) You are welcome to keep fins on the design as long as they are not a standard dexette shape, and the horns / colors! Fracturing and keyholes can be made purely cosmetic or kept. Possessions may also be kept, should the Dexette have any.
- When voiding a Kipitin, please remove all traits which are strong within the Kipitin species. (Kipitin ear styles, horns, smoke legs and demon forms, specifically, must be removed!) You are welcome to keep animal styled ears and horns on the design as long as they are not a standard kipitin shape.
- Voiding rules for Nunuluma are not yet finalized.
If you’d like to return a design to the species, it can be brought back with a MYO of the matching rarity.
There's a user I don't wish to interact with, can you remove them from the site?
We cannot just remove users from our website without reason. If you have evidence of users breaking rules, abusing the species and/or discord then please reach out via private help or by Submitting a Claim.
