Welcome To August
Posted 3 months ago :: Last edited 1 week ago by chamalaeonWelcome to August!
In addition to the continuation of the Eclipse Gala and its prompts and shop… We have some new things for August!
Monthly Features
We’ve been forgetting to directly announce this oops, but congratulations to our features this month!
We selected kinky--kitten as our artist of the month - they’ve been submitting a lot of cute art on site and we’ve loved seeing it in the gallery and as we approve prompts!
Our character of the month belongs to smol-squeep. We selected Odessa after reading about smol’s ideas for her and her history in the discord, we think she’s got a tragic but exciting story and are happy to see smol play with her.
If you commission a featured artist or draw a featured character during the month they are featured, you can submit them to the features prompt for a nice five crystal reward in addition to the normal rewards you can earn for art.
Site Updates
We have a new site guide for how to submit myos, additional references, and redesigns through the site! Feel free to peruse the guides section anytime you have a design related question - odds are it is answered there. If it isn’t, feel free to ask in the discord of course, and we’ll do our best to answer and try to have it in the relevant guide in the future!
Lockette MYOs are now on site! Their items are still coming, however, so hold your horses and read closely.
You can now submit the following items to receive them on site
- Common Lockette MYO
- Rare Lockette MYO
- Lockette MYOs of Discontinued Rarities (ie; uncommon)
You may not yet submit other Lockette items including mutations and the ‘Rare + Mutation Lockette MYOs’ and ‘Mod Lockette MYOs’ that are held by non-mods.
We are still working on getting items for Lockettes, Dexettes, and Nunuluma made for the site, but you’ll get another announcement when any new items are ready and can be transferred to site. It’ll take some time, as we fit it in around preparation for our already planned events. We have plans made for Aerius-centric events out till January-February, and have scheduled our first Maquette-centric event to occur during March-April, so we hope you look forward to that (we certainly do)!
Shard Hunt
Keep an eye out and get the Scavenger Hunt ping role in the discord to get notified whenever the next Shard Hunt begins and ends, or if there are any hints for it!
As with the all our scavenger hunts, do not beg in the discord for hints or spoil it in there. This is just a fun game - if you don't find it fun, then we suggest focusing your energy on the things you do find fun!
(The shard below is NOT a claimable one, this is just to show you what they look like!)
New Prompts
Check out the new monthly prompt about everyone's favorite, Trash!
New Award
For 500 trash, you can now get the Trash Connoisseur Award! This is a new goal for all our trash lovers, after the Trash Collector (50) and Trash Hoarder (100) awards! Keep your eyes peeled for whenever we reach the threshold to release our final planned award for this series…
Available Adopts
There will be new batches coming this month for both Lockettes and Dextroluma, but if you’re in the market for a new design and don’t want to wait, there are a few batches still open! At some point, we’ll also be trying to get our unsold Lockettes from pre-site batches onto the website.
Observer’s Notebook
Check out the volumes of Observer's Notebook to refresh your memory on what different shopkeepers and events have said before - and keep an eye out for when dialogues change again! Also keep an eye out for more books arriving to the Nevermore Bookstore - you never know when they might arrive.
Nitro Booster Rewards!
We try to give our nitro boosters some little rewards each event period. Later this month, they’ll get to vote on the name for an upcoming pet, and at the start of the next event period, they’ll receive an on-site gift of some sort.
For this event period, they received a Nevermore Bookstore background and voted on what to name the Suldra!
Look Forward To...
I wonder what we’ll have coming in September?
