Welcome to NOVEMBER!

Thank you to everyone who participated in Deja's Disappearance & Attack on Verdant Kingdom during September and November!  We had a lot of fun and hope you did too!  With this new update comes a number of new things that you can enjoy doing on site, from the new prompts, new dialogues, and more…

Monthly Features

Congratulations to our features this month!

We selected RandomStorytale as our artist of the month!  We love seeing her art whenever she submits it, and thought her gifting chain piece in October was so cute!

Our character of the month belongs to Diluculi, who blew us away with how many prompts she submitted during the Attack on Verdant Kingdom portion of the event.  We selected Ulrike, who was the focus of several of her prompts!

If you commission a featured artist or draw a featured character during the month they are featured, you can submit them to the features prompt for a nice five crystal reward in addition to the normal rewards you can earn for art.

Frosted Pet Variants

You’ve seen them but not yet had much chance to get them - but now that’s changing!

 
These icy little friends are perfect for the coolest pet owner! Show your love for these pets by purchasing them with Hearts or feeding your regular pet the Frosted Cookie!

New Pet

Alongside this mystery, we’re introducing a new pet - say hello to the Cowcap!

This little guy is special in a way you'll find out in the future, so you can only get one of them from the event shop.

In addition, there’s now lore up on all the site’s pets in the Fauna Section of the World!

New Shops!

Check out our event shop, Flu Season/Winter Spirit Where you can spend your event currency ! Our event shop features frosted pet variants, cookies, borders, a background, and the new pet, so there’s plenty available to purchase! You can earn Hearts by completing event prompts and doing your event daily, as well as by purchasing supporter boxes in the Supporter Shop.

A few new characters have also been introduced in certain shops, so keep your eye out and give them a big welcome!

Reminder about how the Supporter Shop works.  Each month you may purchase any of the supporter boxes and recieve fun rewards for supporting our website! These vary in price from $5 to $50. All funds go towards custom code, assets, pets, server costs, storage, domain registration and possible future extensions. These costs add up, so any little bit helps, please do not feel pressured to support.  Your offline needs should come first.

New Items In Shops

There's new items for this event - backgrounds, borders, and more.  Additionally, items from the last event have made their way into the appropriate shops.  Even the Scavengers have a place in Rodeo Ruff Pets.

New Prompts

This event comes with new themed prompts to enjoy!  Additionally, there are some new key character prompts for our event's focuses - Thimble and Peppy!

We know you missed our usual dextober/locktober - but we promise we didn't forget about it.  This year, instead, we're doing Promptcember!  While you can't get the seasonal traits that normally accompany our prompt events by doing all 31 days of it, you get 3 Hearts for each one, and the seasonal traits in the shop are 20 Hearts so we hope that works just as well.

New Awards

The awards for Deja's Disappearance-Attack on Verdant Kingdom are finally up!  To obtain Loyal Soldier, check the limited time daily which will grant you the award along with some final clues.  To obtain the True Swords, just visit the award's page.  To obtain the Mysteriously Sticky Note, just complete the Flu Season prompts (Icky Sickies and Make the Ouchies Go Away), and then, with the items you obtain from them, claim it from the award's page.

New Locations

Check out new locations in Galactica, The Frozen Plains, The Arcane Artifice, and Verdant Kingdom.  Aerius' solar system is now defined, as you'll notice in Galactica - as a fun tidbit for you all, the popular acronym for remembering the order of the planets in the Selenophos system is:

New Volumes

Check out the volumes of Observer's Notebook to refresh your memory on what different shopkeepers and events have said before - and keep an eye out for when dialogues change again!

Nitro Booster Rewards!

We try to give our nitro boosters some little rewards each event period.  For Flu Season & Winter Spirit, each booster will recieve a frosted cookie! We appreciate you all for the boosts and hope you enjoy your goodies this month!  Earlier in the month, they had the opportunity to preclaim on a Halloween set by Lunathyst, as well as to vote on what nation for @chamaleon to add new locations.

Site Updates

Kipitins, a species owned by SoiLotus, have been added to site, and can now be uploaded by following the Transfer to Site guide.  You can check out their traits on site now, and the ear and horn types now have names!

For more information on transferring your already existing characters and items to the website, please view the ‘Transfer to Site’ guide and follow its instructions.

We’re still working on getting items for Lockettes, Dexettes, Kipitins, and Nunuluma made for the site, but you’ll get another announcement when each ones’ items are ready.  It’ll take some time, as we fit it in around preparation for our already planned events.  We have plans made for Aerius-centric events out till January-February, and have scheduled our first Maquette-centric event to occur during March-April, and our first Ignis-centric event for next September-October.

Available Adopts

There will be new batches coming this month, but if you’re in the market for a new design and don’t want to wait, there are a few batches still open!  At some point, we’ll also be trying to get our unsold Lockettes from pre-site batches onto the website.
