-Who is the culprit or culprits behind Deja's missing statue?
The answer to this is so obvious. There is a mysterious raccoon overlord masterminding events in the Verdant Kingdom, sending their raccoon minions to do dirty deeds. The key players: Evil Overlord, five raccoons in a trench coat pretending to be a dextroluma, eight hundred other raccoons living in the back alleys and trash cans.
. - How did the culprit steal the statue?
Can you say: Raccoons in the air vents?
- Why did the culprit steal the statue?
The raccoons stole the statue in attempt to upset Iola and make her vulnerable to their love. Their hope was that whilst Nero was off investigating, Iola would be sad and alone (hopefully cooking some yummy stew) and they could come in and sweep her off her feet.
- What do the clues mean?
The blueprints are how the raccoons got in to hide the statue and eventually to “rescue” Iola. The Overlord read the blueprints for the raccoons since they’re largely illiterate. The fake statue is bc they were too weak to carry the real one, rip. That other stuff is just normal raccoon activities, chewing, breaking stuff, y’know. Everything else is irrelevant and regarding the raccoon international snuggling operation. Which, while massive and problematic, is of no consequence to this particular investigation.
- How did you come to these conclusions?
Well there’s only two people that would do something this brazen and insane. And since Hexanna didn’t do it (she would never steal a marble statue, she prefers shinier things like GOLD) it was obviously raccoons. Everyone knows they’re evil with their creepy, grabby humanoid hands.
- Feel free to include any other theories or ideas you have as well!
The raccoons built the trash palace as a shrine to Iola bc they really love her “delicious” stews. After weeks pillaging local trash cans for bowls of it, they became smitten with her. They wanted to pretend they were there with her at the palace, but eventually it wasn’t enough. They wanted *her*. So with help from the Overlord, they devised a scheme so evil, so convoluted, it had to work.
