Who is the culprit or culprits behind Deja's missing statue?
-- What if it's Iola or Nero who somehow ended up in a trance like state somehow? Like maybe someone snuck in and cursed them or something. Or perhaps one of the guards. Someone in the castle seems the most likely as they would have access to everything.
How did the culprit steal the statue?
--This seems more difficult to me as the statue seemed heavy. So perhaps they put on a disguise and got a team to help them carry it. Hence the fabric as they went around the different shops. To force the blame and shift the focus to other important figures across Aerius.
Why did the culprit steal the statue?
--Either for fame or out of jealousy. They wanted attention if it was someone out of the Royal line, or again if it was either Iola or Nero, perhaps out of a trance. A more far-fetched theory is that Iola wanted everyone to get along and this is all some elaborate plan. Perhaps the stature is there but it's just invisible and we are all in a scavenger hunt.
What do the clues mean?
--The culprit was sloppy when leaving a trail behind to distract everyone. There has to be DNA written all over the evidence.
How did you come to these conclusions?
--It felt like a plot twist considering lots of people are talking of red-herrings and raccoons. Plus Gulp is too obvious at this point.
