Pop Ups, flashing text, strange ads… Everything you’d expect on those dumb clickbait articles online. Contortion struggled to read the latest news article… Something about the Verdant Kingdom being under attack? With every scroll she’d be thrown into an ad about where to find the best skin care. Surely if this was important, they wouldn’t have it behind 60 fucking ads.

Contortion had never been to Aerius. She knew of Dextroluma, the Royals and that was about it. She’d heard something about the corruption problem but, like most of the time it went in one ear and out the other. Perhaps this attack was related to that? Weren’t Dextroluma supposed to be a peaceful species though… Come to think of it, she did hear a few Lockettes discussing them leaving for Aerius the other day. They seemed to be in a hurry, a few of them decked out in strange armor and carrying large bags of supplies.

Either way, Contortion hated fighting, she was extremely bad at it; apparent by how fragmented she was. She’d tried her hand at it long ago and decided she was just better at pushing people’s buttons, throwing out strange riddles, and making portals to pop up and scare people occasionally. She was in no shape to take part in a large battle or help out, she’d just cause extra problems… A lot of Lockettes were kinda pissed at her for continuously terrorizing them on the daily. It’d be better if she just stayed behind and watched the situation through her mirror.

But, that was a problem for later, too much thinking for this cat… Contortion throws her phone off to the side of her bed and stretches out her tail, expressing a long, much needed yawn. All that reading and thinking made Contortion sleepy. Perhaps it’s nap time.
