While you can use any bases you own for your character designs or draw an off-base design, you can buy premade bases for crystals from Abella's Boutique that have been designed for use on site and will work for the species they are labeled as.  Occasionally, a mysterious stall may appear that sells them for USD...

Decoration items are borders for your icon, which can look all kinds of ways!  You can buy them at Decore Galore, and see the borders you currently own in your settings (which also lets you preview how they'll look with your icon).

Please set an icon for yourself while you're in your settings too!

Snapshots are nifty landscapes that, when placed in a character's inventory, put the landscape behind them.  You can buy them from Decore Galore, and see an example of how they work on the lovely Key Character Lalasa.  (Note that your character reference must have a transparent background in order to use a snapshot to its full extent).

Seashells are a fun type of trinket that were available from a special Tide Pools forage during the 2024 event, the Seashell Soirée.  Since that event, they can be found in Decore Galore.

Books contain information about the world.  Most books are just trinkets for display, with their contents already available in the Library.  Some books, however, need to be used from your inventory (which they will disappear from) in order to access their contents...  Most books can be purchased from Nevermore Bookstore for crystals, or even crafted with certain ingredients.

Crystal Shards are exclusively available during scavenger hunts held during months where there is not an event scavenger hunt.  If you want a chance to search for crystal shards, keep an eye on the news and consider joining the discord and getting the scavenger hunt role so you can get pings about them!

Trinkets are items that have no purpose beyond looking pretty in your character's inventory or your own inventory.  Different shops have different trinkets, so try looking around to see what's available.

Sometimes an item just doesn't fit into any other category - and that's where the Misc Category comes into play!

Boxes are items that must be opened to gain their contents.  Some things the site just won't let us give you unless we put them in a box...
