While lockettes do not have families in the organic sense, many have adopted organic terms for those they feel close to, and it is not uncommon for a lockette to introduce another lockette as their ‘sibling’ or ‘father’ for the same type of relationship another lockette might call their ‘best friend’ or ‘mentor’.

In love, lockettes are very similar to organics.  Monogamy, polyamory, and celibacy for any reason are equally accepted, and there are very few who think any option is somehow superior to a different option.
