Children's Books

Children’s books might be a novelty to our kipitin and lockette readers, but to us organic species, they can be some of the most wonderful, imaginative, and even heartbreaking books out there.  Stories for children help them to process and understand their big emotions and the things they might experience in the world.  We wish kids never had to experience the heartbreak of loss or pain - but just refer to Queen Iola’s encyclopedia page if you want a glimpse of how useful that wish is.  Not every children’s book has to be hard-hitting and emotionally layered, there’s plenty of good books for children that are just cute and silly too.  Every type of story has its place in the children’s aisle.
