Fantasy
We’ve had a few humans write in to ask why our other readers even like fantasy, when they ‘live fantasy already’. Well, here’s a secret for you, dear readers - your magical is our mundane! Of course we have fantasy! Fantasy is the act of imagining a reality that is different than your own. Sometimes that’s a high fantasy world where suldra grow as big as a palace, or a world where pets live lives like sophonts. Fantasy can even be a world where there is no magic, for us, although that tends to be more common in Sci-Fi offerings.
That said, let’s dig into our list for fantasy.
Birthright
High Fantasy
Set in the fictional world of Oblaea, Birthright follows a young dextroluma, Troy, who befriends an ancient suldra named Emeralda. Together, alongside a host of other characters, they work together to overthrow the evil king Maroy.
Combat Cephulu
Low Fantasy
The Combat Cephulu series follow the troubles of clans of feral cephulu, and is primarily set in fictional bodies of water.
Umbrachaser Journals
Supernatural Fantasy
Set in an alternate version of Aerius, the Umbrachaser Journals revolve around a unique type of dextroluma who can see beyond a veil to things normal dextroluma cannot, such as gods and other creatures of religious and folklore mythology. These unique dextroluma, called Umbrachasers, work to protect ordinary dextroluma from the dangers they cannot perceive.
