Historical Fiction
Historical fiction runs the gamut these days - who hasn’t seen a historical fiction book and picked it up expecting it to be set in the Before Unification era only to find out it’s only set in the Transitory Era? We don’t really discriminate between eras when it comes to our historical fiction, but we will say we think stuff set in the BU era tends to just be better. What can we say? A lot of writers of stuff set in the TE or even earlier in the Exploratory Era just don’t seem to research what tech was available when they set it, and veer too into science fiction.
Everything Beneath the Sun and Moon
Romance
Telling the tale of ancient rulers of two fictionalized tribes in what are now the Enchanted Vale and the Grand Flora Exchange, Everything Beneath the Sun and Moon is a moving portrayal of love between those who should have been rivals, and how rulers must balance personal desires against their peoples’ needs.

Despite themselves, though, the friendship finds them - as do their own unique forms of magic, which prove difficult to train due to the intense way most mage families guarded their knowledge at the time…
