Azure Coast (Tropical)
The nation is known best for its beautiful beaches and tourist hotspots. What surprises many is that it wasn't a desire to hold onto all the wealth that creates that prompted the citizens to petition for a split. Rather, the Azure Coast sought to split from the Realm of Tides most predominantly because of schedules. Like most Dextroluma, the Realm of Tides is overall disposed towards being nocturnal, and schedules - including of administrative offices - tend to reflect that. Residents of the Azure Coast, comparatively, were more disposed to being diurnal. Over time, difficulty with getting access to necessary services from their government without messing up their sleep led them to want their own nation, until eventually, they did something about it.
Beyond that, they are still to a degree forming national identity. They pride themselves on making things accessible - although there has been a shift in some businesses becoming more daytime focused, most try to field staffs for both diurnal and nocturnal needs, and they tend to be very receptive to anything they can do to make it easier for anyone to access their services. They've also noticed that the areas that comprise the Azure Coast tend to have higher concentrations of Dextroluma with feather growth, and have tried to incorporate that in some ways.
Technology has had a high adaptation rate across the Azure Coast, with almost every community being at a modern level and many making use of magical and scientific technology alike. Some other nations think that they might have a complex about being new and trying to compensate for it in how readily they adopt things, but whether it's that or their desire to be more accessible than the kingdom they split from, it isn't going to keep the Azure Coast from trying new things.
