Skelduz (Skelduz)

On a clear day, residents and visitors to Nave and Medan may even be able to see the archipelago itself, and not only the floating half-sphere of ocean that it lies within.

The islands have only one city, and development is generally sparse.  Many residents prefer to live in some level of isolation.  Skelduz is popularly conceived of as a lawless and violent place, especially as what little 'government' they have is popularly known to abduct possessed lockettes who have been imprisoned for their crimes - including those due to be executed.  As there is a low presence of more advanced technologies, such as internet, it is difficult for Skelduz residents to dispel the idea - not that most of them would be inclined to do so.  Most residents believe their reputation protects them from attempted invasions by other spheres.

Residents tend to consider there to be no need for laws - the creator of Skelduz, Haven, is the most dangerous lockette in the entire sphere, but she only bites if one resident harms another, and her punishments are always in proportion to the crime.

The sphere of Skelduz has the following settings or conditions:

• • Only possessed lockettes are able to enter, though they may bring in other beings if they willingly choose to do so.  They are able to use any method of transportation they can access.
  • All levels of technology function within it - from medieval looms to advanced spaceships.  All levels of technology can enter it.
  • All levels of medical care are possible - prosthetics, medical care for organics that can allow the regrowth and attachment of new limbs, artificial prosthetics, typical treatment of illnesses, artificial wombs, etc.
  • Skelduz has a regular seasonal cycle, similar to Earth - summer, autumn, winter, and spring.
  • There is a day-night cycle, with a moon and a sun.
  • Decay is possible - if a piece of meat is left out, it will grow rotten.
