The Golden Steppe (Plains)
The Golden Steppe comprises the exterior of a continent that includes its territory as well as that of the Silver Rift. At present, it is cut off from the rest of Aerius by a magic barrier.
There aren't any Plains yet
It is unknown how the Golden Steppe has changed since the barrier was erected.
The last known ruler of the nation was [NAME], who was known as the most powerful mage of his time. It is assumed that he still lives, due to the barrier's continued existence, although this would place his current age at nearly 650.
Before it was sealed off from Aerius, the Golden Steppe was known for its wide open plains, beautiful skies, herds of the largest draphibian seen outside of the Eternal Depths, and rich artistic history. It is unknown what state the nation is in now, but the eldest royals who still recall [NAME] suspect it will be in poor shape if it is ever opened up again.
