Delacroix District

The mansions of the nobility are sprawling and palatial, consuming huge swaths of land.  Their schools are the same - elite private institutions that, although not strictly nobility only, very rarely take a student who is not.  There is very little public land here, and most estates have their own private guards in addition to the nation's standard guards who ensure nothing bad happens here - well, nothing bad caused by anyone with a less noble bloodline than the inhabitants of the district, of course.

There are some shops, boutiques, and restaurants in the area.  They are extraordinarily expensive and inordinately fancy, though of course, what true noble balks at a high bill?  (Besides, the amount rent is costing their proprietors does rather up what they need to charge...)
