Glasston

Glasston was founded sometime after the first plants native to the Smoke Pass began to grow.  It is recorded in official histories of the Smoke Pass to have begun after two individuals who hated each other became kipitins.  They hated each other so much that they refused to live near one another - or where the other might appear - and each went to create their own city.  Glasston is the result of one of the famed pair.

Due to this individual’s decision to ‘grow’ their own dwelling out of glass plants, many buildings here have also been grown similarly.  It’s simply easier to do so than anything else - glass plants cover the ground here, and due to that individual’s efforts to grow their home, they can be coaxed to grow into the right shapes for a building with ease by even a novice at the art of building in the Smoke Pass.  The glass plants found in Glasston are almost always filled with some sort of sparkling liquid, which helps to maintain privacy for the residents of any houses in Glasston, and has a starlike effect during nighttime.
