The Flaming Plains

To the south of Brassborough, there is a seemingly endless plain of obsidian, which periodically seems to experience something the residents of Brassborough have dubbed ‘firequakes’.  The obsidian cracks and rumbles, and jets of flames of different colors shoot into the air.  This is harmless to Kipitins and the animals of the Smoke Pass, but considered quite inconvenient, and has so far discouraged most Kipitins from going exploring to find where it might end.
