Naius

While it is impossible to build on the surface of Naius, there is a constructed ring around the moon.  Residents live within the ring, and there are a number of businesses specializing in acquiring the 'slush' from the planet below for various buyers both within the Selenophos system and from beyond it.

The ring around Naius was constructed with assistance from the Arcane Artifice in an experimental attempt to use magic to create artificial gravity.  It generally works, but requires re-enchantment roughly every decade, and if the administrators of the ring put maintenance off too long in a section, that section may lose gravity.  It can be quite the inconvenience for residents - and occasionally a danger.

Based on analysis of Naius, it is believed to be a fragment of one of the planets whose collision created the Planetary Belt between Aerius and Dapsilia.
