Thornveil Keep

The forest surrounding Thornveil Keep is ominous and inhospitable. In the perpetual autumn, winter, and night of the Keep, the trees are permanently withered and leafless.

The weather is always bad if someone is present outside the castle grounds - torrential rain, near-blizzard conditions, and dangerous thunderstorms where lightning is always just missing the individuals present... It is meant to drive people towards the Keep.

It's theoretically possible for a lockette or dexette - or kipitin, of course - to be unharmed and unbothered by that, though...
