Abyssal Tunnels
The Eternal Depths

These tunnels wind through the planet's crust up to most nations. Some are dry, some are full of water. Most are heavily traversed by travelers happy to use a faster route, and the dry ones in particular are also used for moving goods across Aerius quickly.
Although the tunnels are generally too heavily traveled to live in, plenty of them have offshoots that dead end in caves or a smaller network that never reaches anywhere. The occasional Dextroluma has been known to live in them, although it tends to not be particularly good for them as it usually makes it difficult to get the mushrooms they need. Still, it can be done.
