Clarity

Solaris

Can be home to characters.

A small outlying village in Solaris, Clarity is notable as a rare place that corrupted dextroluma are allowed to freely live.

The current dominant religion of Solaris believes that cruelty only begets more cruelty, and have thus adopted a unique attitude towards corrupt dextroluma, compared to other nations.  The corrupt are encouraged to live in small farming villages such as Clarity, and it is hoped that with time, they will be willing to embrace taking the cure.

There is low risk of progression of the necrosis, so far from the spore clouds of the Blighted Wilds, and the clouds of Solaris are less vulnerable to necrosis than actual soil is.  Villages like Clarity tend to have isolated water systems, and food grown in such villages may not be sold outside of them, as that could risk contagion...  Still, by and large, the system has worked out well for Solaris - dextroluma who do not wish to be cured or who are beyond curing may find safety there, if they can make it to Solaris.  It has also encouraged a very welcoming attitude towards cured dextroluma.

It is believed mycologists are at work in Clarity trying to engineer a plant that could work to remove necrosis spores from soil and air, but as no results or papers have been published, it is mostly speculation as to why so many prominent mycologists on Aerius have moved to Solaris in recent decades.
