Port Oasis

The port is rather ancient, and it is believed by archaeologists to be among the oldest land settlements on Aerius due to fragments found in and around the actual oasis and river.  Of course, this doesn't matter to most Dextroluma on the port - they're busy living their lives in modern Aerius, after all.  It's a major draw to tourists and academics alike, however - and to films.  There's often at least one street closed down for on-location filming, although the docks never shut down for that.  After all, with the variety of sleep schedules among Dextroluma, it's quite easy to make sure the docks are always manned, so that ships can be loaded or unloaded quickly.
