Los Angeles
The Great Sea Of Sand inside Purgatorio
Can be home to characters.
Like its sister town Los Diabolos, a prior Queen of the Great Sea of Sand renamed it due to what a group of humans had been calling the paired towns, which she had found amusing, though it sadly lacks the typo of its neighbor.
For centuries, Los Angeles has stood as keeper of some of Aerius' most ancient archives and libraries, and the center of its most renowned education centers. Its oldest university is believed to be nearly a millennia old - possibly older - and drunk archaeology students are surprisingly known for discovering new things on campus after deciding to dig up some of the small campus gardens. It's happened more than most would think possible.
While it was once something of a closed town like Los Diabolos, it didn't take long after Purgatorio began to become prominent for Los Angeles to wind up leaving its gates open. Nowadays, they're a relic of a past long gone, rusted open and passed every time a visitor comes in. Due to space constraints, most businesses are still in Purgatorio, but there are a few who have managed to get a foothold within Los Angeles' walls.
