Gingerbread Falls

Interestingly, long before humans ever set foot on Aerius, the town's populace had a propensity for red colors and even already been a favorite for tourists of their own species.  Visiting humans introduced some new ideas to them, certainly - though the local Dextroluma ignored most things they talked about in favor of wholeheartedly embracing the aesthetic of the season the humans were so enthused over.  Why not?  The town already fit much of the concept perfectly - trees that were green year round, pretty wintry decor, brightly painted homes...  It only took a few changes to make the town into a true seasonal tourist place for more than just Dextroluma - and they certainly are happy to embrace any new traditions they learn about as well, so long as they are fun and pretty.
