Flutter Village

Flutter Village is home to one of Aerius' major science universities, and Dextroluma from all over travel to attend or teach there.  As a result, they have a very large and diverse mushroom market to accommodate all sorts - and an equally diverse food market to accommodate other species who might come to the university as well.  Science is a collaboration, and the more hands, the better, most believe.

The city goes far beyond the university, however - one of its popular tourist spots is in fact the original Flutter Village, which is kept as close to its original conditions as possible and used both for research and as a historical reenactment village.  Residents are employees of the Historical Flutter Village Society, and portray Dextroluma from long ago as they would have gone about their days in that time period and in the garb of that era.  There are almost always schools on trips to the village, as well as researchers from other nations of Aerius, most prominently scholars from the Great Sea of Sand's Los Angeles.
