Haven

Before the war, Haven was a somewhat sleepy little town, distinguished by a powerful magic barrier that no one recalled the original purpose of, nor when it was made.

The barrier made it the only place the young Queen Iola and fleeing residents of Harmony could turn to when the humans betrayed Dextroluma and plunged the planet into war.  The barrier seemed to destroy the humans' greatest weapon against populations - bombs - and kept them from entering the area to attack the civilians within it.

After the war, Queen Iola and her husband made the decision to build the capitol anew in Haven, rather than to rebuild Harmony.  The popular belief among many Dextroluma is that the young Queen couldn't bear to return to what had been her home - though some suggest that perhaps she simply could no longer feel safe outside of Haven's barrier.
