The Eternal Depths

The Lumina Basin lies off the coast of the Obsidian Peaks, not too far from the Vesuvial Rift. Once an active volcano, it is now a lush caldera filled with more life than much of the Eternal Depths.

Biolumiscent creatures and plants live and grow in abundance here, alongside vast quantities of the abyss mushroom.  Some scientists speculate that the sizes and glow strengths of some of the oldest abyss mushrooms here may be a contributing factor in why so much life thrives in the Lumina Basin.

Plants and animals are not the only things thriving here, however - there are Dextroluma as well, and the occasional other species.  While the Basin is not a highly populated area, one can find small dwellings hidden away throughout it.
