Carrion Plains are where the ocean's dead come to rest and return to Aerius - and where the living sometimes venture for... other reasons.
Carrion Plains is a vast section of the abyssal floor. When dead creatures descend from the ocean above, Dextroluma of the Eternal Depths will generally do their best to guide them to the Carrion Plains so their towns and cities are not disturbed but the overall ecyosystem still thrives.
Generally, the Carrion Plains are uninhabited by Dextroluma - but of course, there are always exceptions, as well as those who venture into them for secrecy of deed...
