Pine Pass is built on a border of the Verdant Kingdom, where the trees begin to blend into the foothills of the mountains.
In the pre-war era, it was a location lived in primarily by humans, who planted trees native to their own planet, Earth. The pines easily took over from the native trees, and now every year, the Dextroluma who live there work to keep the pines - and other invasive species brought by humans - limited in number.
