Built into cliffsides that overlook the Great Sea of Sand, The Steps is a magnificent if precarious city, relying on magic to prevent erosion that might endanger its inhabitants.
The red cliffs of The Steps are a truly picturesque place - and the abundant wildflowers of the plateau they climb to are equally beautiful. It is a peaceful city, although there certainly is a lot of climbing required to go places within it!
