Climbing is extremely restricted, however, as very few Dextroluma can handle not only the physical climb but also being at the edge of the atmosphere.  Those who have lived in Delta, Galactica, the Crystal Isles, or even the somewhat lower nations of Lunaris and Solaris generally are best suited to the climb, but others have made it.  Just don't expect help - the Sky Barrier's government does not mount rescues.  Once a year, they hire some Dextroluma from Galactica to perform cleanup, but that's it - they generally prefer to discourage climbing to the Point, but use the application process to try to minimize the number who try.

Interestingly, Point Valor is also the only point on Aerius that naturally grows Hyperspace mushrooms.
