The Fern Forest is a popular island destination. The town itself is on cliffs overlooking a beach, but beyond the cliffs lies a dense 'forest' of ferns and a network of raised bridges over them to observe them.
The ferns are much beloved by the residents of the town, who have cultivated them for centuries. They know the different cultivars well, and there are shops that sell small potted ones of the more fun cultivars.
