Rarities

Mythic traits are unique traits, and only one member of a species may possess the given mythic trait, such as changing their colors.  Very few members of a species will ever meet or hear of an individual with mythic traits, and the few public figures with mythic traits attract enormous amounts of attention, as well as skeptics who claim they cannot possibly exist.

Admin Traits are highly niche traits that are seen so rarely in the species that they apply to that most of the traits are poorly understood.  Most individuals may never even see a member of their species who has an admin trait.

Seasonal traits are incredibly odd traits that are not seen very often in the species that they apply to.  Few individuals ever see a member of their species who has a seasonal trait, and some may consider the existence of seasonal traits to be hoaxes, although they are well documented.

Mutations are highly unusual traits that are not seen very often in the species that they apply to.  Many individuals may never even see a member of their species who has a mutation, other than perhaps a public figure.

Rare traits are seen less frequently in the populations of the species they apply to.  They may occasionally attract some attention, for being different, but ar generally considered in the realm of things everyone's seen at some point.

Common traits are the things you could expect to see on an average member of any species.  They're commonplace and found in most of the species' population.

Regional traits come from different genetic groups of dextroluma from similar biomes.  They appear primarily on dextroluma, but may occasionally be seen on dexettes as well.
