Aqueous traits are seen in dextroluma who have heritage from areas whose prominent feature is being predominantly underwater or very close to saltwater.  In modern times, these areas have coalesced into the nations of the Realm of Tides and the Eternal Depths, but not everyone with aqueous heritage or traits resides in these nations.
