Horned Fins

Horned Fins (Rare)

Category: Fin Style
Species: Dextroluma

Horned fins are a less frequently observed fin type across Aerius, and are characterized by three spines with the top piece curving up, and two pieces of  webbing with edges that have large ‘u’ shaped curves pointing in towards the body.  This fin type is generally of medium opacity.

Frill Fins

Frill Fins (Rare)

Category: Fin Style
Species: Dextroluma

Frill fins are a less frequently observed fin type across Aerius, and are characterized by a flexible spine and a singular large piece of fin that folds into ruffles along the bottom.  This fin type is generally of lower opacity.

Spino Fins

Spino Fins (Rare)

Category: Fin Style
Species: Dextroluma

Spino fins are a less frequently observed fin type across Aerius, and are characterized by four long spines and three large pieces of webbing whose edges are shaped like a ‘v’ that points in towards the body.  It is believed that long ago, this fin shape proved useful for communication among Abyssal dwellers, due to the large expanses of glowing fin, and that this is why it is only found in Abyssal bloodlines.  This fin type is generally more opaque.

Fallen Fins

Fallen Fins (Rare)

Category: Fin Style
Species: Dextroluma

Fallen fins are a less frequently observed fin type across Aerius, and are characterized by four spines and three narrow pieces of webbing with edges shaped like a ‘u’ that point in towards the body.  This fin type is generally more opaque.

Elven Fins

Elven Fins (Rare)

Category: Fin Style
Species: Dextroluma

Elven fins are a less frequently observed fin type across Aerius, and are characterized most strongly by the two dramatically curling outer spines.  They possess a total of four spines and three pieces of webbing whose edges have ‘u’ shaped curves that point in towards the body.  This fin type is generally of medium opacity.

Draped Fins

Draped Fins (Rare)

Category: Fin Style
Species: Dextroluma

Draped fins are a less frequently observed fin type across Aerius, and are characterized by a complete lack of cartilage and their generally thin and flexible nature.  While they can fold into ruffles at the bottom like frill fins, it is not particularly characteristic of the type.  These fins generally tend to be on the longer side, and can be tied up into bows and knots without any pain for the Dextroluma who have them, which some prefer either for style or to avoid tripping over their own fins.  This fin type is generally of low opacity.

Satin Fins

Satin Fins (Rare)

Category: Fin Style
Species: Dextroluma

Satin fins are a less frequently observed fin type across Aerius, and are characterized by their two dramatically curved spines and three semi-rigid fins whose edges are slightly ruffled.
