Transformations

An 'alt outfit' transformation is for use when you want to have multiple references of your character in different outfits.  If you only have one reference where your character is clothed, it should be uploaded with no transformation set.

Summons is the transformation to choose when you have separate references of your character's summons.  Lockettes have summons by default, but dextroluma and dexettes may also have summons.  We recommend using this transformation in particular if the character reference is not actually holding their weapon and it is just floating off to their side - in that case, it looks nicer to separate the character and summon references if you want to add a background.  You don't have to, though.

A mythic transformation is a very unusual and exclusive capability only available either by the design or permission of a species owner.  Mythic abilities cannot be duplicated within a species - ie there cannot be two lockettes who can turn into a dragon, but there could be a dextroluma who can turn into a dragon and a lockette who can turn into a dragon.

A nude reference is exactly what you think - that character is naked.  We like having nude references sometimes for certain traits - for example, if your lockette has a keyhole on their hip, which would normally be covered by their clothes.  A nude is not required if all required traits are shown, but can still be added.

The Misc. transformation is for any transformations that do not fit a different category.  This could include a separate reference of a complex tattoo, a back view of the character, or even a reference where a character who has hair is bald to show off their eyes if you're feeling spicy.

Merforms are a trait that is presently exclusive to dextroluma.  Through the use of magic - and completing a prompt - they can unlock the ability to transform their lower legs into the form of a fish, similar to a mermaid.  If you have unlocked this ability, you may submit a merform reference for the character who has unlocked it.

A Smoke Form is the true form of a kipitin, and thus exclusive to their species.  In this form, they are comprised solely of smoke.  A smoke form is not required for a kipitin to be approved.
